Kotor is a small medieval town with a rich history, considered one of the best-preserved old towns in Montenegro. Founded by the Romans in the 2nd century BC, it was once an important center of trade and seafaring. Walking through Kotor’s Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with stone houses, narrow streets, colorful shutters, and the sound of church bells creating a unique atmosphere. Influenced by centuries of Venetian rule, the town is known for its Renaissance architecture, charming squares, and both Orthodox and Catholic churches, as well as palaces of noble families whose coats of arms can still be seen carved in stone.
Perast is a small baroque town located in the Bay of Kotor, known for its rich history and elegant architecture. Once an important maritime center, it is home to beautiful stone palaces, churches, and a peaceful waterfront. The town is best known for the nearby island of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of Montenegro’s most iconic landmarks.
Tivat is a picturesque town on the Bay of Kotor, famous for its clear waters and beautiful coastline. Porto Montenegro is a luxury marina and waterfront development located in Tivat. Once a naval base, it has been transformed into one of the most prestigious yachting destinations in the Adriatic. The marina accommodates some of the world’s largest superyachts and is surrounded by elegant residences, high-end boutiques, restaurants, and stylish bars. After the visit, we arrive in Perast, where you can disembark and enjoy some time to explore the town.
After lunch at a restaurant in Perast, we cross the bay to Tivat by ferry. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a walk along the waterfront of Porto Montenegro, take photos, or enjoy a drink at one of the many bars by the sea before returning to your hotel.
