Itinerary
DAY 01 / BELGRADE
Upon arrival at Nikola Tesla Airport, your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Free time.
DAY 02 / BELGRADE
After breakfast at the hotel, begin a full-day guided tour of Belgrade, Serbia’s capital at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers.
House of Flowers, the resting place of Josip Broz Tito, part of the Museum of the History of Yugoslavia. Your guide will bring history to life as you learn about Tito’s legacy and the story behind this unique site.
Kalemegdan Fortress, a historic site offering views of the Sava and the Danube rivers and a stroll through the park surrounding the fortress. You will hear tales of battles, empires, and the city’s evolution over centuries, all while enjoying the peaceful greenery of Belgrade’s largest park.
Knez Mihailo Street, the main pedestrian zone, and enjoy the city’s 19th-century architecture.
Skadarlija known for its cobblestone streets, traditional restaurants, and lively atmosphere. Once a gathering place for artists, poets, and writers, it still preserves the spirit of old Belgrade, offering visitors a taste of local culture, music, and cuisine.
Temple of Saint Sava, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, an important symbol of Serbian culture and heritage. Your guide will explain its significance as a symbol of Serbian culture, faith, and resilience.

DAY 03 / BELGRADE – SREMSKI KARLOVCI – NOVI SAD – BELGRADE
After breakfast at the hotel, begin a full-day guided tour of Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad.
Sremski Karlovci, an important political, educational and religious center in the past, is home to several notable landmarks, including the Patriarchal Court and Karlovci Gymnasium. Located on the banks of the Danube River, Sremski Karlovci is one of the most charming towns in Serbia, known for its rich cultural heritage and long tradition of winemaking.
Živanović Museum, one of the oldest private museums from the former Yugoslavia period. Its diverse collection includes a variety of tools, old Viennese maps related to bee biology, as well as beekeeping and winemaking items and books. In the museum’s backyard, home to over 200 beehives, enjoy a tasting of local honey, traditional products, and home-made wine, offering a unique combination of flavors and local tradition.
After the visit of Sremski Karlovci, continue the trip towards Novi Sad.
Novi Sad – Nestled on the banks of the Danube River, Novi Sad is Serbian charming cultural capital. Known for its laid-back vibe, historic Petrovaradin Fortress and vibrant music festivals like EXIT, the city blends old world charm with youthful energy. Visit Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska street, Church of the Virgin Mary, Liberty Square and Petrovaradin Forteress.
After visiting Novi Sad, return to Belgrade.

DAY 04 / BELGRADE – ZLATIBOR
After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the guide and go to Zlatibor Mountain.
Drvengrad, a unique ethno-village built entirely from wood. Also known as Küstendorf, this living cultural masterpiece was created by acclaimed filmmaker Emir Kusturica as a tribute to traditional Serbian architecture, film, and rural life. Constructed for his award-winning movie Life Is a Miracle, Drvengrad has since become a popular tourist and cultural attraction.
After lunch in Drvengrad, take the Šargan Eight train and enjoy a scenic ride through the mountains.
The Šargan Eight Railway is a historic and scenic narrow-gauge railway in Serbia. The 15.5-kilometer route runs between the stations of Mokra Gora and Šargan Vitasi, offering a journey through beautiful landscapes, tunnels, and viaducts. Along the way, the train passes through 22 tunnels, including the longest at 1,666 meters, and crosses 5 bridges, providing excellent photo opportunities. Known for its unique engineering and traditional design, the Šargan Eight is one of the most popular and picturesque railway experiences in the Balkans.
After a one-hour train ride, the bus will pick you up at Šargan Vitasi station and transfer you to Zlatibor town center.
Zlatibor city center – Take a stroll around Zlatibor Lake, an artificial lake that offers paddle boating in the summer and a picturesque ice-skating rink in the winter. Free time.

DAY 05 / ZLATIBOR – ŽABLJAK
After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the guide and go to Durmitor Mountain.
Tara Bridge – On our way to Žabljak, we will stop at the Tara Bridge and cross it on foot. At 170 meters high, the bridge offers stunning views over the canyon.
Durmitor National Park is one of the most beautiful natural site in Montenegro. Together with Tara River Canyon which is the second deepest canyon in the world, Durmitor mountain is the largest protected area in Montenegro, and it was inscribed on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1980. 48 peaks over 2000m above the sea level, 18 glacial lakes and 5 canyons, make it one of the most attractive destinations for both, experienced hikers and families.
Black Lake, is one of the most famous attraction on Durmitor Mountain. Surrounded by dense pine forests and mountain peaks, the lake offers a peaceful setting and stunning views in every season. It is a popular spot for walking, relaxing, and enjoying the untouched nature of the Durmitor region. (A scenic 1.5-hour hike around the lake)
Experience the simple life on Durmitor Mountain at the local family household
The family-run farm in Žabljak is home to a variety of animals and a greenhouse where fresh vegetables are grown for both the family and their guests. All meals are homemade, using ingredients straight from the farm. A highlight of the menu is dishes made with fresh forest mushrooms, offering a true taste of local flavors. Guests can fully immerse themselves in rural life, taking part in everyday farm activities such as mowing, hay gathering, picking forest fruits, and caring for the animals. This is a unique opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and experience the authentic rhythms of village life.

DAY 06 / ŽABLJAK – OSTROG – PODGORICA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Ostrog Monastery.
Ostrog Monastery is one of the most important pilgrimage destinations for Orthodox Christians worldwide. Built into the sheer rock, at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level in the municipality of Danilovgrad, the monastery is often described as a remarkable blend of nature and human craftsmanship. Founded in the 17th century in honor of Saint Basil of Ostrog, the monastery houses his relics, which are believed to have miraculous healing powers. Pilgrims from around the world come here seeking spiritual comfort, healing, and guidance.
After visiting Ostrog Monastery, enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant with an amazing view, then continue the journey towards the biggest wine cellar in Montenegro.
Šipčanik Wine Cellar is one of the most unique wine cellars in Montenegro, located in a former military airbase in the heart of the vineyard, more than 30 meters underground. The cellar is designed as a 356-meter-long tunnel, with a constant temperature of 17–19°C and natural humidity of around 80%, providing ideal conditions for wine aging. Today, over 2 million liters of wine are stored here in oak barrels, along with an impressive archive of more than 18,000 bottles.
After wine tasting, go to hotel in Podgorica and have rest.

DAY 07 / PODGORICA – SKADAR LAKE – BUDVA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit National Park Skadar Lake.
Lake Skadar is the largest lake in the Balkans, known for its rich biodiversity and stunning natural beauty. The lake is especially significant as a key stopover for migratory birds traveling between Europe and Africa. Among its most famous inhabitants is the rare Dalmatian pelican, a symbol of the lake. Upon arrival, a 1.5-hour boat tour will be arranged. On the way to Karuč, you will pass through water lilies and reeds, see traditional fishing villages, enjoy birdwatching, and explore the wild beauty of the lake.
After the lunch at the Lake, the trip contuous towards Budva.
Sveti Stefan island – On the way to Budva, you will pass by the iconic island of Sveti Stefan, one of Montenegro’s most photographed landmarks. Originally a 15th‑century fortified fishing village, today, the island is known for the luxury Aman Sveti Stefan resort, which once welcomed guests from around the world and was a favorite destination of international stars such as Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, Sylvester Stallone and many others. (Photo stop of 15 minutes)
Budva is a historic coastal town in Montenegro with a rich cultural heritage dating back over 2,500 years, making it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast. Surrounded by medieval walls, the Old Town is filled with narrow stone streets, charming squares, and historic landmarks that reflect centuries of Illyrian, Roman, and Venetian influence. After the city tour of Budva Old Town, transfer to the hotel will be organize. (45 minutes city tour)

DAY 08 / BUDVA – KOTOR – PERAST – BUDVA
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Perast and Kotor Old Town.
Kotor is a small medieval town with a rich history, considered one of the best-preserved old towns in Montenegro. Founded by the Romans in the 2nd century BC, it was once an important center of trade and seafaring. Walking through Kotor’s Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with stone houses, narrow streets, colorful shutters, and the sound of church bells creating a unique atmosphere. Influenced by centuries of Venetian rule, the town is known for its Renaissance architecture, charming squares, and both Orthodox and Catholic churches, as well as palaces of noble families whose coats of arms can still be seen carved in stone. (45 minutes city tour)
Visit the Maritime Museum and gain insight into the rich naval history of the Bay of Kotor, with exhibits including ship models, portraits of famous captains, old maps, and traditional artifacts.
After lunch, go to Kotor Marina for a 1.5-hour boat ride to Perast, with a visit to Our Lady of the Rocks Island.
Perast is a small baroque town located in the Bay of Kotor, known for its rich history and elegant architecture. Once an important maritime center, it is home to beautiful stone palaces, churches, and a peaceful waterfront. The town is best known for the nearby island of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of Montenegro’s most iconic landmarks.

DAY 08 / BUDVA – TIVAT/PODGORICA AIRPORT
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport. End of the journey.
